Entrance Examination – Plovdiv Medical University
Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy – Plovdiv
Plovdiv Medical University for the fourth consecutive year will hold entrance examinations for English-language programmes online (online).
Places for the participation of prospective students in the entrance examinations are limited according to the university’s capacity.
Candidates are tested online in the subjects of the Biology and Chemistry according to the syllabus of the Bulgarian high schools.
The dates for the entrance examinations to Plovdiv Medical University for the academic year 2024/2025 are:

16.07.2024
17.07.2024 – TEST RETAKE DATE – ONLY FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE TAKEN THE ENTRANCE TEST IN APRIL, MAY, JUNE, JULY 2024.

Candidates who do not have a degree in English in accordance with the requirements of Plovdiv Medical University will be required to take the English language test.
For the academic year 2023/ 2024 the Plovdiv Medical University received over 2000 student applications with only 500 places available (300 medical, 150 dental, 50 pharmaceutical).
Submission of documents until 30.08.2024.
We accept applications until 15.08.2024.
On 13.09.2024 the announcement of the rankings will be made for all candidates who have given entrance tests for medicine, dentistry, pharmacy.
Only the candidates who achieve the highest scores in order of ranking and depending on the available places are admitted to Plovdiv Medical University.
The start of the academic year 2024/2025 for the 1 year English language programmes will take place on 01.10.2024.
