Entrance Examination Traction University
Trakia University in Stara Zagora announced the dates of entrance exams for the academic year 2026/2027.
Choosing to study abroad is a fantastic way to broaden your education, gain life experience and explore your career options. But if it were that easy, everyone would do it!
Before leaving for a new country, prospective international students must prove that they will be able to cope with the requirements of each university. They will need to prove that they have a good command of the language (English in this case) and that they will be able to cope with the courses in order to be able to complete their studies successfully.
For this purpose, all prospective international students must take an entrance examination.
In this article we will look at the requirements and dates for the entrance exams for studying at Trakia University of Stara Zagora.
The Trachia University of Stara Zagora offers medical and veterinary medicine in English language degree programmes.
All candidates who wish to start their studies in English-language programmes must sit the entrance examination.
Medical candidates are tested in English, biology and chemistry.
For studies in veterinary medicine, candidates are tested in English and biology.
The syllabus is in accordance with the syllabus taught to students of Bulgarian high schools. In Bulgarian high schools, anatomy is included in the biology course.

The dates of the entrance examinations are as follows:
- 06.06.2026 – 07.06.2026
- 25.07.2026 – 26.07.2026
- 22.08.2026 – 23.08.2026
The exams will be administered online.
Submission of documents until 21.08.2026 .
Tuition fees are paid in 2 instalments before the beginning of the semester.
