We present you the experience of Angeliki Konstantinidou – Pharmacist in Bulgaria. She is a graduate of the Pharmacy Department of the Plovdiv Medical University.

Good morning,

My name is Angeliki Konstantinidou and I come from the city of Komotini.

I decided to come to study in Bulgaria in September 2011 after I finished high school in Greece. I had to choose between the Bulgarian-speaking and the English-speaking section. I decided to join the Bulgarian-speaking department of the Medical University of Plovdiv.

We made our decision immediately we turned to SB-ACADEMY who could do all the procedures without any further involvement from us.

I decided to study in Bulgarian because it would give me more opportunities to integrate into everyday life in Bulgaria.

I studied from 2011 to 2018, as soon as I finished my studies I started working in a pharmacy chain in Plovdiv.

I decided to work in Bulgaria to get more knowledge about working in pharmacy chains. Which is the status in the country of Bulgaria.

I made the decision to work in the pharmacies in Plovdiv. Because my parents are out of the area, the earnings in Bulgaria are satisfactory. It can easily support a young Greek.

I was very sceptical when we made the decision to go to study in a foreign country. But when you have the right people around you, everything becomes easier. These are the people who keep the office going. They helped me to fit in without any problems and difficulties.

I want to thank Bulgaria and these people who helped me to fulfil my dream.

My dream is to become a pharmacist and work in a country next to Greece.

Working hours in Bulgaria are eight hours a day, five days a week. Pharmacy assistants also work on weekends because pharmacies here work seven days a week for twelve hours a day.

Pharmacy is a job that covers both the science and the commercial side. It gives you the opportunity to have contacts with the world while at the same time helping those in need.

The medical university in Plovdiv is directly recognized by the Greek state. There is no need for procedures that take too much time and delay in order to be recognized in Greece.

For now I have decided that I will build my future in Plovdiv. But if I change my mind, it doesn’t mean that I can’t return to Greece any time I decide.
