There are two universities in Bulgaria that offer studies in veterinary medicine.

Both universities have English and Bulgarian-language courses.

The Thracian University of Stara Zagora is recognized by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) as an Institution of Veterinary Education.

The Sofia University of Forestry is on the waiting list as a candidate member.
