Chemical composition of the cell. Inorganic molecules and ions. Organic compound: monosaccharides, aminoacids, lipids, nucleotides. Macromolecules – polysaccharides, proteins, nucleic acids.

Enzymes. Mechanism of action and regulation of enzyme activity.
The cell – elementary unit of living matter. Characteristics of prokaryotic cell.
